Summer fun!!!

Well, I do not have that much time to write, so it will be quick. We are all enjoying the summer weather and taking advantage of the swimming pool and slip 'n slide. Jack and Jon love the water as much as I did when I was young. Josh and Jordan absolutely love the slip 'n slide. They crawl up it then slip all the way down it...we cannot keep them out of the water. Hope all of you are having a good summer and I will try and post some pictures of the big boys soon...

Spring Swimming!!!!

Well, I usually do not post this much, but these pictures were so incredibly cute I had to post them. The babies went in the their own little swimming pool for the first time this weekend and loved it. I'm sure they thought it was a bath because we let the water warm up all day in the sun. So, enjoy the picures and I am also attaching some of the big boys birthday party...Hope everyone had a great Easter!!!!

Finally One Year Old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, first I must say that I never thought we would make it this long. The past year has been difficult, but we continue to feel more blessed everyday. The boys birthday was last week and I had to wait for my sister-in-law to email me pictures because I just am not that organized...thank heavens that most other people are. I am super tired so this will be a short post. Jordan and Josh are doing great. Jordan is almost walking and Josh is not far behind. The year check up went great (at least I thought so), and Jordan is now heavier than Josh. They (all four) keep me busy at home. Jack and Jon are playing soccer this season with their cousin, Josheph and their uncle David is their coach. They are the oldest on their team and are finally enjoying being able to score some goals. The past couple of seasons they played, they were always the youngest and I think were discouraged. But this year they are having a blast. The pictures are from the little twins birthday party at Mimi and Papa's. I think my favorite picture is of all seven GRANDSON's. Mimi and Papa must have done something really special to deserve all these boys, ha! Hope you all enjoy and I'll try to post more later...love to all.

Eleven months old today...

Hey everyone...sorry I have not posted in a while, but as usual, things are pretty busy around here. Jordan and Josh now have seven teeth and are beginning to cut down on their bottles. Next month they will no longer have their formula...just milk...which means real food. Although they are already showing signs of not wanting formula anymore. Whenever ANYONE sits down to eat, they attack them. So far, they have had yogurt, baked beans, mashed potatos, shredded cheese, humus (weird huh?), corn casserole and of course, Jas has let them try ice cream. It seems like these two are on the same track as Jack and Jon and enjoying pretty much any food we give them. Jordan is almost walking and Joshua just started to crawl on all fours. He did just kinda drag his legs behind him, but now he is just like his brother. Jordan has learned how to crawl up stairs and just today took his first spill down three of them...have to go buy some more gates I guess. That is about all that has been going on with the little ones and Jack and Jon are busy as well. They are so loving towards the little ones is amazes me sometimes. I think they might even be more patient than me! Jack and Jon are learning to read with Mimi now and are enjoying being at home all the time. We have all had colds for a couple of weeks now and hopefully it will not loop around again. Hope all of you are well and enjoy the pictures...I will try to get some of the big boys on next time. Take care.

Family Visits...

Hey everyone! Well, this weekend, we had my brother and sister-in-law visit us. All the boys love having family come. It is hard for us to get anywhere these days, so to have family come see us is such a blessing. Jordan is now pulling up on everything and screaming. He seems so proud of himself when he stands up. Joshua is still rolling to get to everything, but now is going from lying down to sitting up by himself. Personally I think he enjoys being held all the time. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Finally crawling...

Here are a few more pictures from the Christmas holidays...I do not know if I wrote in the last post, but Jack has lost his first tooth and has another one about to fall out and Jordan has six teeth in and Josh four. We lose a tooth and gain a tooth in this family. Hope you enjoy!!!

Little smiles...

Here are a few recent pictures of the little twins...We all are trying to recover from a severe stomach flu and I have now come to realize how difficult it is to get over a sickness with six of us in the house. The little ones had their nine month checkup today and did great. Due to the stomach flu, Jordan has lost some weight and is now weighing in less than Joshua...the doc said now that he is feeling better, he should catch back up. Other than that nothing much is going on. Jason just had his 33rd birthday and in three weeks we will take a weekend for my birthday and go to Hilton Head. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoy the pictures...the first two were before Christmas and the last one is at Christmas with Jason holding our nephew Jayce. They all had a good time together...the beach this year will be crazy with both sides of our family!!!!

Christmas Morning....

We all had a wonderful Christmas. All the boys (even Jas), got everything they wanted!!! We are now settling back into routine and getting ready for the USC Bowl game (GO GAMECOCKS!!!). Trying to find room in the house for all the new clothes and toys is a challenge. Here is a picture of the big boys on Christmas morning...their big gifts were skateboards and bikes...they are so confused on which to ride around. Hope all had a wonderful Christmas and have a great New Year!!! The little boys will have pictures posted soon!!!

Christmas Stars....

Hey everyone. Well, Jack and Jon's play was AWESOME!!!! They did so very well and of course we were VERY proud of them. They did not mess up once and the little boys dance was the hit of the play (of course in my opinion). They all did a number in bowties, tophats and black vests with canes...I cannot believe how CUTE all of them were. I have never seen a children's Christmas play that was so well put together...I felt like I should have been paying at a theatre. I am including a few pictures. The first is the boys in their biblical costumes and then in their "Perfect for the Part" costumes. They were also shepherds at the end of the play. Hope all of you enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!!!

Thanksgiving smiles...

Well, it has been forever since I have posted. Thanksgiving went great and all the boys enjoyed seeing family. Josh and Jordan were finally able to spend some quality time with their cousin Jayce who is one week older than they are. This is one of many pictures the three of them had to endure. How cute though!!!! Jack and Jon performed in Sunday service. Just one song with all the kids and both of them did SOOOO well! They knew all the hand motions and I could see their lips moving...who knows if they were really singing though. The picture is sort of dark, but it was taken right before leaving for church. Their play is this weekend and of course I am so excited! Do not know how excited they are...lol! The little twins are now experimenting with all different kinds of fruit...they love it and they are quite messy! They both have their two bottom teeth in and I believe cutting more presently. The older twins have a loose tooth on the bottom...same tooth...how weird is that! Jack and Jon are doing very well homeschooling this year for kindergarden. Mimi is teaching them so much. I do not know how she does it...my patience is growing though. Hopefully they will be reading by the end of the year. So, not much has been going on, but we are constantly busy...doing what, I have no idea, but having fun (at least most of the time).

Camping Pictures...

Here are a few of the boys camping Jas sent me...enjoy!!!

Perfect for the Part

For those that do not already know, Jack and Jon are going to be in the Christmas play at our church. I just wanted them to have the experience and enjoy time with kids their own age. I was never expecting a call from the choir director asking if I would let them do a duet! I am so very proud of the two of them. It seems all the parents love them and say they are so well behaved. I did have to stop and ask if they had the right children...lol. I feel blessed to have such wonderful boys and slowly but surely seeing the wonderful character they are developing. This past weekend Dad took them camping with their church group "Royal Rangers." It is very similar to boy scouts. All three had an awesome time with 200 other kids from around the state. Jack and Jon were able to shoot bow and arrows, bb guns, play flashlight tag, have a campfire, and many other fun activities as Jon says, "Were just for boys, sorry mom!". This coming week they are going to the State Fair, which is always enjoyable for them...especially when Mimi and Papa go...they always pick the best food to eat...mmm...the fries!!! Last year I was unable to ride the rides due to pregnancy, but watch out this year! I doubt Mimi will let me take her place going down the giant slide with Jack, Jon and Joseph. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of the two of them...I am trying to find the pictures from camping, but Jas has them on his camera...maybe next week.
